The red/black checker background isn't too good on the eye. Perhaps one colour? I think a dark colour (black/grey) would look better. Perhaps base it off the original forum (http://pudgewars.informe.com/forum/)? I think you should just play around until you get an effect you like

When I'm typing post it's really difficult to see anything because backround and the letters in window both are black. That's why I have to type text in other place and after copy it to the forum for posting. Change color of text in reply window to white please! It's really annoying!

Are you talking about quick reply or advanced reply? I assume you are talking about advanced reply because the colours are fairly similar. I will see what I can do.

Wow! There's the magic button on the right upper corner of the reply window! It changes colors. Hah. It's OK now. =)
